As a cultural connector, I get to name people who are not in the room. The idea of co-signing for someone or sponsoring someone is nothing new.
But as a seasoned fundraiser, I know that women and People of Color led agencies are not fiscally supported at the same rate as other agencies led by white people, for doing the same work. This is why I support diverse people doing social justice work in meetings and planning sessions.
Knowing how to build transformative relationships with your diverse, community-led groups will help grow your outreach and lead to new programs and collaborations.
